in japanese, the term ROBATA means “by the fireside,” and refers to the centuries-old cooking style of northern Japan… where fishermen would cook their daily catch over an open fire, then share among themselves by passing food on oars from boat to boat. our ROBATA selections are simple recipes of small portions and great value. to make a meal from our robata grill we encourage you to order several selections. all orders will be combined and served family-style for the table
